Every major business should have its own lobbyist in parliament: UNLA has entered into a partnership with the “Ehad Mishalanu” business club
The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association (UNLA) announced the launch of a partnership with the All-Ukrainian Jewish Business Club “Ehad Mishalanu” — a unique business community that brings entrepreneurs together around a model of mutual support and an active corporate ecosystem.
“Ehad Mishalanu” (which translates to “one of our own”) has historically been associated with the principles of trust, cooperation, and business development within the community, where entrepreneurs support one another, form partnerships, and develop joint projects. It is precisely this model that makes the club not just a network of contacts, but a full-fledged business platform comparable to a “state within a state”—with its own rules of interaction, trust, and economic synergy.
According to UNLA, such business associations play a critically important role in the development of entrepreneurship today, as they create an environment for the rapid exchange of experience, finding partners, and jointly addressing challenges. In Ukraine, such clubs effectively form ecosystems of collaboration, where businesses gain not only contacts but also real tools for growth and support.
As part of the partnership, the parties agreed to work together to foster a culture of professional lobbying in Ukraine and to strengthen the role of the business community in shaping public policy.
NALU emphasizes that modern business can no longer exist outside the political process.
“Every major business should have its own lobbyist in parliament. This isn’t an option—it’s a necessity.”
It is precisely this model—in which business interests are systematically and professionally represented at the legislative level—that the parties have identified as a strategic direction for cooperation.
During talks with Miriam Zeitlin, head of the “Ehad Mishalan” club, a shared vision was outlined: establishing an institution for corporate lobbying as an integral part of business strategy. This involves a shift from ad hoc advocacy to systematic engagement with parliament, the government, and regulators.
UNLA’s partnership with “Ehad Michelin” marks a new phase of collaboration between business communities and professional lobbyists, in which the focus is not only on the development of entrepreneurship but also on its influence on government decisions.
The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association continues to expand its network of strategic partners, shaping a modern model of interaction between business and government in Ukraine—one that is transparent, institutional, and effective.
