Ukraine announces the creation of the Economic Renaissance Alliance in partnership with science, industry and lobbyists
Kyiv, December 3, 2025.
In the context of a full-scale war and serious economic challenges, Ukraine has taken an important step towards uniting the efforts of business, academia and experts. To mobilize internal potential, a triple alliance was formed between the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE), the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association(UNLA), and the Mamutov Institute of Economic and Legal Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The heads of the organizations – President of the ULIE Anatoliy Kinakh, Chairman of the Board of the NALU Oleksiy Shevchuk and Director of the IER of the NAS Volodymyr Ustymenko – officially consolidated this partnership by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The basis for transparent interaction
The main goal of the Memorandum is to create a legal and scientific basis for transparent and civilized work of the lobbying institution. This partnership lays a solid foundation for the implementation of effective mechanisms of advocacy, which are essential for a modern market democracy.
Anatoliy Kinakh, President of the ULIE, emphasized the importance of this initiative: “At a time when the capacity of state institutions is declining and dependence on external financing is growing, our goal is to restore the state’s economic capacity and efficiency. This is the main factor for a successful recovery process.”

UNLA Chairman Oleksiy Shevchuk emphasized the need for institutionalization: “Lobbying should receive the status of a full-fledged profession in Ukraine. This requires the development of clear standards, mandatory professional training and the use of the best international experience.”
Joining forces for economic sustainability
Cooperation between the three parties will focus on a number of important priorities:
- Scientific substantiation of anti-crisis solutions and long-term recovery strategies.
- Developing transparent lobbying legislation to reduce corruption risks and ensure fair rules of the game.
- Effective protection of the rights and interests of Ukrainian business.
The roadmap for cooperation envisages the creation of a trilateral expert council to assess legislative initiatives related to the business community, as well as regular training courses for entrepreneurs.
This triple combination is not just a formal partnership. It is a combination of practical business experience, deep scientific expertise and knowledge in the field of effective communication. Such synergy is strategically necessary to ensure sustainability, accelerate recovery and form the economic foundations of a modernized, European Ukraine.
