UNLA team was recognized at the Ukrainian Building Awards 2025 as a leader in the development of lobbying in Ukraine

The team of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association received an industry award at the Ukrainian Building Awards 2025 event, the key professional event of the year for the architectural, construction, development and design community of Ukraine.

The award was organized by the DMNTR Media Group ( Dom i Interiors, Dom i Interiors magazines) with the support of the general partner, Creator-Bud Group, and brought together industry leaders: developers, architects, designers, business representatives, communities and government institutions. The event was moderated by Nazarii Volianskyi, Head of Development of the UNLA.

Recognition of the UNLA team by the construction industry of Ukraine as a leader in promoting business initiatives and business interaction with the government was a confirmation that the lobbying institution in Ukraine is entering a phase of systemic formation as a legal, professional and influential institution.

According to Oleksiy Shevchuk, the head of the UNLA, this is not just an award for the team, but the result of intensive work in recent months:

“It is a great honor for our team to be the driving force behind the formation of the lobbying institute in Ukraine. In three months, we have gone from launching a new profession to bringing together leading educational institutions and the best industry professionals. We are shaping the culture, standards and ethics of modern lobbying.”

Shevchuk also emphasized the transformation of the profession itself:

“Today, a lobbyist is not a shadowy intermediary. He is an investment manager for the economy, a specialist who translates the language of business into the language of laws and ensures a civilized, transparent dialogue with the state.”

The Head of the UNLA emphasized that the key role in achieving this result was played by the daily systematic work of the Head of Development Nazarii Volianskyi and Executive Director Vitaliya Globa.

“This award is a recognition of the entire lobbying movement in Ukraine. We have raised the bar and will continue to do so,” summarized Oleksiy Shevchuk.

The UNLA team continues to develop a transparent, professional and responsible lobbying system as the foundation of Ukraine’s modern economic policy.
