Liudmyla Kozhura took part in an expert meeting on the development of transport and logistics in Ukraine

Liudmyla Kozhura participated in the meeting of the expert group on the development of the transport and logistics industry

On March 25, 2026, an online meeting of transport and logistics experts was held with the participation of representatives of public authorities, business, academia, and professional associations.

The event was attended by Liudmyla Kozhura, Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association, Doctor of Law, Professor, Director of the Law Institute of the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, who is also a member of the Lobbyist Association.

During the meeting, the key issues of implementing the state policy in the field of railway transport were discussed, in particular:

  • implementing the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on accounting and control of rolling stock;
  • improving procedures for extending the service life of freight cars;
  • ensuring the safety of dangerous goods transportation.

Particular attention was paid to the need to prepare scientifically sound, legally consistent and balanced decisions that take into account the interests of the state, business and society.

Following the meeting, the participants supported the creation of an interagency expert working group aimed at developing systemic solutions to improve the efficiency of the transport industry.

In her speech, Liudmyla Kozhura emphasized the importance of developing an integrated model of industry management based on the consistency of legal and regulatory framework, the quality of its implementation, and the principles of good governance.

“A strong transportation system is not where there are a lot of rules, but where they work and inspire trust,” she emphasized.
