UK/EU-Ukraine Defense Innovation Corridor – Science, technology and professional lobbying: UNLA and Tech Connecta join forces to develop defense innovations
On March 19, 2026, the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the international platform of technological interaction Tech Connecta VertexLtd, opening a new stage of institutional development of lobbying and international partnership in the field of innovation and security within the framework of the UK/EU-UkraineDefenseInnovationCorridor.
The signing of the document was a logical continuation of the course towards professionalization of lobbying activities in Ukraine and integration into the European and British innovation space in the defense sector. The Memorandum provides for the consolidation of the parties’ efforts to develop the lobbying institution, create transparent mechanisms for lawmaking and implementation of joint projects, improve the investment climate, and promote the internationalization of security and defense projects.
The key context of the partnership is the launch of the UK/EU-Ukraine initiative on the Tech Connecta platform Defence Innovation Corridorto create a structured ecosystem of cooperation between Ukrainian defense industry entities and technology companies, research institutions, investors and industrial partners from the EU and the UK.
The initiative is aimed at:
- presenting innovative projects, startups and research initiatives on the platform;
- facilitating the establishment of partnerships with international stakeholders;
- support for cross-border innovation ecosystems.
New opportunities for the Ukrainian market
Within the framework of cooperation between UNLA and Tech Connecta Vertex Ltd:
- facilitate the involvement of Ukrainian companies in international innovation ecosystems;
