Science and professional lobbying join forces for Ukraine’s digital transformation
The NGO “Ukrainian Modern Digital Science” and the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, launching a strategic partnership between scientific expertise and professional lobbying in the field of digital transformation of the state.
The cooperation is aimed at modernizing Ukraine’s regulatory environment by introducing an evidence-based approach to lawmaking, harmonizing national legislation with international standards, and developing modern digital public policy tools. The parties emphasize that cross-sectoral interaction between science, business and the state is a key condition for effective reforms.
One of the priority areas of the partnership will be the development and implementation of blockchain technologies in the electoral process. The goal is to create decentralized voting systems based on the principles of data immutability and cryptographic verification, which will increase election transparency, protect the results of the vote, and reduce the risks of corruption and external interference.
In addition, the parties plan to work together to introduce risk-based approaches to the activities of enterprises, develop open data systems, analytical platforms, and expert registers. An important area of cooperation will be conducting scientific examinations at the request of businesses, as well as developing educational and training programs for market professionals and the academic community.
The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association will ensure the practical implementation of scientific developments in public policy by engaging the authorities, business and the international expert community in a systematic dialogue. The partnership is aimed at improving the quality of regulatory decisions, strengthening trust in state institutions, and creating sustainable preconditions for Ukraine’s economic development.
