On February 19, 2026, the training “Winning Negotiations for Lobbyists” will be held by the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association of Ukraine and Taras Zagorodnyi
The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association together with Taras Zagorodnyi, an expert in strategic communications and negotiations, will hold a professional practical training “Winning Negotiations for Lobbyists. How to influence decisions without conflicts and losses”. The event will take place on February 19, 2026 at 15:00 in an online format.
The training is aimed at improving the professional efficiency of specialists who interact with public authorities, MPs, regulators, heads of public and private institutions, and other key stakeholders. Participants will receive practical tools to influence the decision-making process, build support coalitions, and overcome systemic barriers that arise during the implementation of professional and civic initiatives.
The training program covers key aspects of professional negotiations in the field of public policy and lobbying, in particular:
- understanding the real psychology of decision-making in government and corporate structures;
- building a strong negotiating position from the first meeting;
- effective work with refusals, delays and avoidance of responsibility;
- building an influence map and creating coalitions of support;
- recognizing and neutralizing manipulations in negotiations;
- use of non-verbal instruments of influence;
- use of language structures that translate negotiations into concrete decisions and commitments.
The format of the event involves intensive practical work, including role-playing negotiations, analysis of real cases of participants, modeling of negotiation situations and development of individual influence strategies.
As a result of participation, participants will receive a set of ready-made negotiation tools, practical communication templates, and an individual action plan to effectively promote their initiatives in the government and corporate environment.
The organizers emphasize that in the context of complex management systems, success depends not only on the quality of the idea, but also on the professional ability to effectively negotiate, generate interest, and ensure the movement of decisions.
