UNLA representative Zhanna Hrushko participated in the event on the development of women’s entrepreneurship in Ukraine

On March 28, 2026, an extremely important event took place – the Foresight of Women’s Entrepreneurship Development in Ukraine, which brought together representatives of business, the expert community, and government to form a common vision of women’s business development in the country.

The event was attended by Zhanna Hrushko, Head of the regional branch of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association, attorney, PhD in Law, head of the law center and an active representative of the professional community. She is also a member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Ukrainian Platform “Women in Business” (WINB), which emphasizes its significant role in the development of the women’s business environment.

The event became a platform for discussing the key challenges faced by women’s entrepreneurship in Ukraine, as well as practical mechanisms for overcoming them. The discussion focused on finding effective solutions to ensure sustainable business development and strengthen its role in the economy.

The participants paid special attention to lobbying as a modern tool for protecting business interests. Today, lobbying is seen as a civilized and transparent mechanism of communication between entrepreneurs and government institutions.

As emphasized in the approaches of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association, lobbying is an important component of a democratic society that contributes to the formation of quality decisions through an open dialogue between the state, business and civil society.

The participants of the event emphasized that lobbying is not a one-time appeal to a problem, but a systematic tool of influence that allows

• formulate and promote initiatives at the national level;
• interact effectively with the authorities.

This approach opens up new opportunities for women’s businesses, regardless of their field of activity: manufacturing, consulting, or service sector.

Zhanna Hrushko’s participation in the foresight emphasizes the active role of the professional community in developing a culture of transparent lobbying and support for entrepreneurship. This is also in line with the strategic course of creating a civilized system of interaction between business and the state in Ukraine.

The Women’s Entrepreneurship Foresight was an important step towards consolidating the women’s business environment and strengthening its influence on economic and governance processes in Ukraine.
