This decision is an important step in building a civilized market for lobbying services and strengthening trust between the state, business and civil society.

Institutional development

As part of the institution’s further development, the UNBA established the Ethics Council, a body responsible for formulating ethical policy, adherence to professional standards and implementation of international practices.

The Ethics Council is chaired by Vasyl Kostytskyi, an academician, Doctor of Law and one of the leading representatives of Ukrainian legal science.

The main tasks of the Council are:

  • development of ethical standards for lobbyists’ activities;
  • assessment of professional behavior;
  • Conducting explanatory and educational work.

Structure and functions

They also operate within the structure of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association:

  • Board of Trustees responsible for the development of educational programs in the field of lobbying;
  • The Management Board, which coordinates the activities of industry areas and regional offices.
