Transport industry expert Oleksandr Rudakov joins UNLA’s Ethics Council

The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association continues to expand its expert community and strengthen its professional activities. Oleksandr Rudakov, PhD in Economics, a specialist with more than 30 years of experience in the fields of transport, logistics, finance, corporate governance and strategic development of enterprises, joined the UNLA’s Ethics Council in the field of transport.

Oleksandr Rudakov is the CEO of Rail Logistics LLC and the Head of Logistor Group. Over the years, he has held senior positions in the banking sector, industrial and transport companies, and implemented large-scale projects in the field of rail transportation, transport infrastructure, and international logistics.

His professional competencies include reforming the transport industry, developing railway logistics, integrating the Ukrainian transport system into European transport corridors, corporate governance, attracting international financing, and developing regulatory solutions for the transport sector.

Mr. Rudakov was a member of the Ukrainian negotiating team that prepared Ukraine’s position during the negotiations with the European Union on transport issues as part of Ukraine’s accession to the EU. Mr. Rudakov is also a member of the Board of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and has extensive experience in preparing legislative and regulatory changes in the field of economy and transport.

As a member of the UNLA Ethics Council, Oleksandr Rudakov will be responsible for the development of professional standards of lobbying in the transport industry, expert support of legislative initiatives, interaction with business representatives and specialized associations, as well as coordination of lobbyists working in the fields of transport, logistics, railway infrastructure and transport engineering.

Its task will be to create a professional platform for discussing topical issues of transport policy, promote the development of transparent and responsible lobbying in the industry, and develop proposals for improving legislation in line with European standards.

UNLA is convinced that the involvement of such specialists will contribute to the development of the professional lobbying institute in Ukraine and strengthen the expert representation of the interests of the transport industry at the national and international levels.
