The leadership of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association has joined the Rotary community
Oleksiy Shevchuk, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association, and Vitaliya Nesterenko, Executive Director of the UNLA, joined the Rotary community upon the recommendation of the Chairman of the Ethics Council of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association, Vasyl Vasylovych Kostytskyi, Doctor of Law, professor, and academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine.
Participation in the Rotary movement is an important step toward developing professional connections, fostering international partnerships, and implementing joint initiatives that benefit society. For over a century, the Rotary community has brought together leaders from various professions around the principles of community service, integrity, mutual respect, and responsible leadership.
UNLA notes that the values of the Rotary movement are largely in line with contemporary principles of professional lobbying in democratic states. Transparency, ethics, accountability, support for socially significant initiatives, constructive dialogue, and a commitment to achieving results in the public interest form the foundation of both Rotary’s activities and the development of a civilized lobbying institution.
The involvement of UNLA leadership in the Rotary community opens up new opportunities for developing inter-institutional partnerships, exchanging international experience, and implementing joint projects aimed at strengthening civil society, fostering professional ethics, and establishing a culture of transparent advocacy in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association will continue to develop its cooperation with professional and international organizations that share the values of integrity, responsible leadership, mutual trust, and service to society.
