UNLA, ULIE, and the OECD Discussed the Development of Compliance and Anti-Corruption Programs for Businesses

Representatives of the Ukrainian league of industrialists and entrepreneurs (ULIE), the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association (UNLA), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) held a joint conference call dedicated to the development of anti-corruption and compliance programs for Ukrainian businesses.

The discussion focused on practical mechanisms for strengthening corporate integrity, implementing effective compliance standards, preventing corruption risks, and aligning business practices in Ukraine with international standards and OECD recommendations.

The parties placed particular emphasis on the need to develop systematic approaches to corporate governance that ensure transparency in companies’ operations, build investor confidence, and promote the integration of Ukrainian businesses into global markets.

Following the meeting, the participants agreed to continue their cooperation and focus on implementing practical initiatives aimed at introducing modern models of compliance and corporate ethics in Ukraine.

The participants emphasized that a strong compliance system is not only about meeting regulatory requirements, but also serves as the foundation for trust, investment attractiveness, business reputation, and the sustainable development of Ukrainian businesses.
