The Lobbying Committee was established at the Ukrainian National Bar Association
The Ukrainian National Bar Association has announced the establishment of a new Lobbying Committee to unite lawyers working in the field of lobbying.
Oleksiy Shevchuk was elected chairman of the committee. Olha Prosyanyuk, Oleksandr Leshchenko, and Oleksandr Bondarchuk were appointed deputies. Oleksandr Chernykh was appointed Secretary of the Committee.
The main tasks of the committee are:
- consolidation of lobbyists in Ukraine;
- developing a standard for the lobbyist profession;
- drafting amendments to the legislation on the self-governance of the lobbying profession.
Next week, the committee’s first meeting will be held to determine the strategic directions of the company’s activities and outline the plan for further work.
The Committee has also prepared proposals to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to amend the current legislation, establishing transparent rules of self-government and developing the lobbying profession.
