Vadym Vashchenko joined the Ethics Council of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association
The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association continues to consistently create a professional environment for the development of transparent, responsible and ethical lobbying in Ukraine. One of the key activities of the Association is to strengthen its regional presence and develop systematic interaction between local government, business and civil society.
That is why Vadym Vashchenko, an expert in the field of local self-government, public administration and strategic development of territories, joined the UNLA Ethics Council.
Vadym Vashchenko has practical experience at the regional level, is actively involved in the development of local initiatives, and understands the challenges that communities face today in communicating with government institutions, business, and the public sector.
UNLA emphasizes that the development of a culture of responsible lobbying at the local level is one of the fundamental elements of the modern democratic system. Today, communities are becoming the centers for making a large number of economic, social and infrastructure decisions, and therefore the issue of transparency of the processes of representation of interests is of particular importance.
As part of the work of the Ethics Council, Vadym Vashchenko will focus on developing practical mechanisms for the development of ethical lobbying standards in the regions, as well as on strengthening trust between business, local authorities and the public.
