NALU and EV-UA Have Signed a Memorandum on the Development of Electric Mobility

UNLA and EV-UA have signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation in the field of electric mobility

The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association (UNLA) and the Ukrainian Association of Electric Vehicle Market Participants (EV-UA) have officially signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing the electric vehicle market and establishing a transparent regulatory environment in Ukraine.

Key Areas of Cooperation

Under the terms of the signed memorandum, the parties agreed to collaborate in the following areas:

  • participation in the development and review of laws and regulations governing the field of electric mobility;
  • developing an effective model for interaction between business and the government;
  • promoting systemic solutions for the development of the electric vehicle market in Ukraine;
  • Implementation of joint information and advocacy campaigns.

NALU will serve as a key driver in the institutionalization of the industry, providing professional lobbying support and expertise.

Joint Initiatives and Market Development

According to the parties, a large-scale engagement campaign is planned to be launched in the near future, which will involve the active participation of one of the leaders in Ukraine’s electric vehicle market. The initiative will aim to accelerate the industry’s development, in particular through the implementation of modern regulatory mechanisms and the promotion of innovation.

Vadym Ignatov, acting chairman of the board of EV-UA, is one of the key drivers of electric mobility in Ukraine. He is the founder and CEO of LUAZ Motors, a Ukrainian manufacturer of electric pickup trucks, as well as the developer of LUAZ Care—a specialized commercial electric vehicle for people with disabilities.

Since 2012, Vadym Ignatov has been actively developing the electric vehicle industry in Ukraine. He is a co-founder of Eco Drive, the organizer of the EcoDrive EXPO and EcoDrive SHOW exhibitions, and the publisher of Eco Drive, Ukraine’s first magazine about electric vehicles. In addition, he is the author and co-author of the Green Mobility News program, which airs on YouTube and the “1 Avtomobilnyi” TV channel.
