The first comprehensive training course “Lobbying in Ukraine: Theory and Practice” was launched in Ukraine

The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association and the Higher School of Lobbying have officially announced the launch of the training course “Lobbying in Ukraine: Theory and Practice”, which will become a systematic educational platform for training specialists in the new profession.

The course is based on a combination of Ukrainian lobbying legislation, international standards of transparency and ethics, and practical experience from leading global jurisdictions. The program includes international educational modules presented by the Kyiv Ukrainian-Polish University together with academician Vasyl Kostytskyi and integrates European and transatlantic approaches to the lobbying profession.

A separate block of the course is based on practical programs developed by the lecturers of the Higher School of Lobbying, Yana Tsymbalenko and Liudmyla Kozhura. These modules are focused on the real mechanisms of lobbyist work: preparation of legislative initiatives, interaction with public authorities, compliance and ethical standards of the profession.

The course also includes practical case studies prepared with the participation of leading British and American lobbyists, allowing participants to gain access to the best international practices in the field of Government Relations and advocacy.

The program features separate workshops with representatives of the Eastern School of Lobbying, as well as Japanese and South Korean experts who present unique approaches to building interaction between business and the state in Asian countries.

The launch of the course “Lobbying in Ukraine: Theory and Practice” is an important step in shaping the institutional framework of the lobbying profession in Ukraine and is aimed at developing a transparent, ethical and professional lobbying services market in line with international standards.
