Viktor Shcherbina has been appointed to the Ethics Council of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association

The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association continues to establish the Ethics Council—an independent advisory body designed to ensure high standards of professional ethics, integrity, and accountability in the field of lobbying.

Dr. Viktor Shcherbina, Doctor of Sociology and professor, has joined the UNLA Ethics Council and will represent the culture and humanities sector. His participation will help strengthen the Council’s expertise in matters of humanities policy, public communications, sociological analysis, and the development of ethical standards for the profession.

As the only self-regulatory professional organization in the field of lobbying in Ukraine, the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association pays special attention to the development of a modern system of professional ethics. The Ethics Council plays a key role in developing principles for the ethical conduct of lobbyists, formulating recommendations for compliance with the Code of Professional Ethics, and fostering a culture of transparent advocacy.

Involving experts from various fields of science and public life in the work of the Ethics Council ensures a comprehensive approach to the development of professional standards. Viktor Shcherbina’s participation will strengthen the humanistic dimension of the Council’s activities and promote the integration of sociocultural approaches into the process of developing ethical standards for the professional community of lobbyists.

UNLA will continue to work on expanding the Ethics Council’s membership by engaging leading scholars, practitioners, and representatives of civil society to develop a transparent, accountable, and professional lobbying institution in Ukraine.
