UNLA Board of Trustees approves the strategy for the development of educational lobbying programs

The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association (UNLA) is systematically working to create a transparent and ethical lobbying market in Ukraine. The key body that ensures high standards of professional training is the UNLA Board of Trustees.

Two key areas of activity were discussed and agreed upon at the meeting:

1. Urgent issues of developing a highly professional, high-quality and unique training course “Lobbying and Advocacy”.

2. Strategic areas of improvement and preparation of new training courses that will develop the lobbying profession by integrating a unique interdisciplinary approach to lobbying.

These decisions are critical for training professionals capable of working in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Lobbying” and European standards.

The UNLA Board of Trustees was established to provide expert support and transparency in the development of the new professional community.

Mission: To develop new standards of integrity in lobbying and control the quality of the professional training system.

Integration: The Council has an open opportunity to involve higher education institutions, both Ukrainian and foreign, which contributes to the overall development of the curriculum.

Regulation: Its work is aimed at creating a self-regulated professional community.

The Board of Trustees consists of leading scholars and experts in the field of law and public policy, which guarantees a high level of expertise in the development of educational and ethical standards. The activities of the Board of Trustees are the cornerstone of the single center of expertise that contributes to the establishment of a transparent and civilized lobbying market in Ukraine.
