Representatives of UNLA participated in an open meeting on business mediation

On September 28, representatives of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association participated in an open meeting titled “Business Mediator: Why Is It Critical Right Now?”, organized by the Ukrainian Center for Mediation and Negotiation together with the Ukrainian School of Management, in partnership with the Munich Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Participants in the event discussed the practical application of mediation in business, teamwork, partnerships, and professional activities. The focus was on effective methods of conflict resolution, finding a balance of interests, and building constructive dialogue in the context of complex management decisions.

Professional communication is also crucial for lobbying. It is an effective tool for representing the legitimate interests of businesses, civil society organizations, and professional communities in their interactions with state and local government authorities. Its effectiveness depends not only on the soundness of one’s position but also on the ability to listen to different perspectives, reconcile interests, and formulate decisions that take public needs into account.

This is precisely where lobbying and mediation converge: both tools rely on dialogue, trust, accountability, and the search for mutually acceptable solutions. Open and ethical communication makes it possible to transform conflict into cooperation and socially significant initiatives into concrete solutions.

Participation in such events contributes to the development of a professional lobbying culture in Ukraine and the establishment of transparent mechanisms for interaction between the government, the business community, and civil society.
