Open Dialogue with Parliament: UNLA Continues Discussions on the Development of Lobbying in Ukraine
The platform for open discussions with members of the Ukrainian Parliament, operated by the Higher School of Lobbying and the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association, continues its work.
On October 9, 2026, a meeting was held with Andriy Klochko, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, to discuss current issues in lawmaking, the development of professional lobbying, and its significance for the Ukrainian economy.

The discussion focused on the current situation in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the specifics of the review and adoption of bills, and the practical aspects of the professional community’s interaction with parliament. Andriy Klochko emphasized the importance of high-quality expert work: legislative proposals must include a clear justification of the problem, specific regulatory solutions, and an assessment of their implications for the relevant sector.

Special emphasis was placed on preparing concise analytical reports that help members of parliament assess the content and purpose of the proposed changes.

The discussion also covered the prospects for the further development of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association. Topics included strengthening its expert capacity, engaging specialists in the development of legislative initiatives, and establishing systematic communication with members of parliament. Expert analysis, an understanding of legislative procedures, and a well-reasoned presentation of business needs form the foundation of trust in professional lobbying.

The development of this institution is of direct importance to the economy. Transparent representation of business interests makes it possible to identify regulatory barriers in a timely manner, propose well-founded changes to legislation, and help create predictable conditions for entrepreneurship and investment. At the same time, such interaction requires adherence to the principles of legality, integrity, and transparency, as well as consideration of the public interest.

Continuing discussions on the platform of the Higher School of Lobbying and UNLA helps foster a culture of professional, open dialogue between the government, the business community, and civil society. It is precisely this regular exchange of practical experience and legal expertise that helps translate the needs of the economy into substantive legislative proposals and strengthen trust among the participants in this process.
