A regional branch of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association was established in Sumy

The Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association (UNLA) continues to develop its regional network. The Sumy branch of the UNLA was officially launched.

Establishment of the Sumy office was an important step in the development of professional and transparent lobbying in the regions of Ukraine. The new branch will help strengthen the voice of Sumy business, NGOs and experts at the national level, as well as provide quality support in interaction with the authorities and MPs.

Valeriia Holovanova is an experienced lobbyist, member of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association, head of the NGO Institute of Business Education, member of the Council of Entrepreneurs at the Sumy City Council.

Valeriia has over 8 years of experience in business, entrepreneurial education, and strategic business-government cooperation.

Valeriya Golovanova and the UNLA team set themselves the following tasks as part of the Sumy branch’s activities:

  • Providing professional support to Sumy business and public organizations in promoting legislative initiatives;
  • Developing a culture of transparent and ethical lobbying in the region;
  • Ensuring an effective dialog between Sumy region businesses and MPs;
  • Promoting regional interests at the national level;
  • Conducting educational programs and seminars on legal lobbying.
